Sefa Burnaby Soccer Academy is one of the top soccer institutions in Burnaby, New Westminster , Vancouver and Coquitlam British Columbia, offering high-quality training and education to young players of all ages and skill levels. We take pride in being a long-standing member of the BC Soccer Academies Association (BCSAA), with our membership dating back to 2017. BCSAA, as the governing body for youth soccer academies in BC, Canada, is responsible for running the (ASL) — a premier soccer league dedicated to youth players across Canada.
The ASL is a competitive league that provides young players with the opportunity to compete at the highest levels of the sport. The league is designed to promote player development, encourage teamwork, and foster a love of soccer. By participating in the ASL, Sefa Burnaby Soccer Academy gives our players the chance to compete against other top teams and showcase their skills on the field.
At Sefa Burnaby Soccer Club, we offer a range of programs and training sessions that cater to players of different ages and skill levels. Our Junior Development Program is perfect for younger players who are just starting out in the sport. Our experienced coaches work closely with each player to develop fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting, creating a strong foundation for future growth.
For more advanced players, our Elite Training Program focuses on advanced techniques such as tactical awareness, positional play, and set-piece training. Our coaches provide personalized training plans tailored to each player’s specific needs, helping them to excel at the highest levels of the sport.
In addition to our training programs, we also organize a range of events and tournaments throughout the year. These events provide players with the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against other players from around the region. Some of the large tournaments we have played in include, Las Vegas, Mayors Cup, and West Coast Classics. In 2019, one of our teams was a finalist in the Crossfire tournament and in 2020, we won gold medals with two teams of different ages at the PacNorthWest tournament. Our participation in the ASL also provides our players with the opportunity to compete against top teams from across Canada, giving them exposure to new coaching styles, strategies, and players.
