As a Shop Manager, you’ll play a critical role in launching and leading this new facility, driving operational excellence, and delivering the exceptional customer experience Craftsman Collision is known for—supported by the latest tools, technology, and equipment in the industry.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a newly built, state-of-the-art repair facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability
  • Build, coach, and develop a strong team of technicians, estimators, and coordinators
  • Establish best practices, workflows, and performance standards from opening day
  • Champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer care
  • Manage shop financials, KPIs, payroll, and vendor relationships
  • Leverage modern equipment and emerging vehicle technologies to maximize productivity and repair quality
  • Promote Craftsman Collision in the community and support business development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, company policies, and procedure
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive and/or related experience, including leadership, sales, customer service, or management
  • Strong understanding of operations, budgeting, and expense management
  • I-CAR Platinum certification is an asset
  • Experience with Mitchell Estimating, Audatex, and ALLDATA preferred
  • Knowledge of ADAS systems, vehicle calibrations, and emerging vehicle technologies is an asset
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and driving performance
  • Proficiency with Outlook and video conferencing platforms; comfortable learning new technology
  • A strong desire for continuous learning and professional development
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Canada and the U.S. for company functions
