  • Develop and maintain a reliable list of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Establish accurate unit costs, productivity rates, and location-specific pricing factors.
  • Prepare and deliver competitive proposals for a variety of project sizes and complexities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operational teams to ensure cost alignment and schedule feasibility.
  • Track bid status, follow up on opportunities, and support business development by building relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide input on constructability and value engineering opportunities.
  • Ensure all estimates meet client expectations, are completed on time, and reflect a high level of professionalism and accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost estimating, preferably within the demolition or construction industry.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with Bluebeam or B2W is a strong asset.
  • Experience with construction/demolition takeoffs and estimating software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional time management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

What You Bring:
  • A collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills—you enjoy working with cross-functional teams and clients alike.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and a continuous improvement attitude.
  • Confidence in making cost-related decisions that support both client goals and internal project targets.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices on every project.
